good morning

Good morning. Let's get ready. I got a new job. Today is the first day. I'm now the graphic designer at Dear Media, which I'm excited for. I have a bachelor's in fine arts. I used to work at a company where I could wear sweatpants if I wanted to work here. Business casual. Do I really know what that means? No. I think just because business casual is so normalized in like fashion today, that I don't know what actually business casual means. We're gonna make an outfit today for the first time for my first day. I think it's probably on the business casual, then business casual side, and I've always said that, sorry, but better safe than sorry. I want to make a good first impression because you know me and you know I love my outfits and I want to look good, feel good, and that's so I can do my job well. Girl math. I went to Uniqlo. I got some pants. I got them tailored. I also got them in black. I have this sweater that I also want to wear. Pretty safe. They're perfect and they're so comfy and they're not too high-waisted, which I didn't want. I always said I kind of want low-waisted, but I also own a lot of longer shirts, so that's kind of the vibe I wanted to go with. I'm gonna be putting on first, sweater, but then a sweater over it. I did do my research. People have posted videos from work. Okay, stalker. I think it's cold in the office. The tank that I was just gonna wear. It's pretty long. I wanted to kind of recreate this outfit that I saw on Pinterest. Here's what it looks like on. I definitely want to wear a belt. I'm going for a 90s office chic. I can wear jeans, but I didn't want to do that on the first day. And my trusty little loafers. I do want to buy some ballet flats. A sentence I never thought I'd utter. The only thing with these loafers is that they're kind of tall, so it makes my pants look a little shorter. They squeak. They're not the quietest shoes. And I don't know how to make them stop squeaking. Like rings. I want people to think I'm cool. By the way, my power's out, which is super not convenient. I didn't have the chance to do my hair this morning. So this is how I woke up. My hair decided to be really good this morning. Here are the rings. I wore this accidentally in the shower this morning, somehow it's fine. I will be on the computer constantly, but blue light glasses. Blue light glasses are also very important. I don't wear glasses normally, but they are very sensitive because I do have blue eyes. Do I really like these? And I think they're really fun. I have my work bag too from Lé Ténner. I do want to take this off and then add more bag charms. Oh, I feel really cool. Love it. Love it. I think this is my first day of work outfit. I'm really nervous. It'll be fine.
