What's to do in MEXICO CITY Day 1 of 3

This is my first time exploring Mexico City and my best friend planned everything. So comes Day 1 of our 3 days in CDMX with us. We started at El Castillo de Chapultepec and this was probably one of my favorite ways to start the trip between the architecture, the artwork, and getting to learn more about the history. There was literally something beautiful in every room. I feel like I could have spent hours just walking around it. It was such a cool way to learn about Mexico while actually getting to experience a piece of its history. After the Castillo, we stopped at some of the little shops outside to grab some souvenirs. And I tried one of the gorditas de nata filled with cajeta for the first time and I already know I'm going back for them. From there, we walked down Reforma towards the Angel de la Independencia and I genuinely can't explain what it felt like seeing it in person for the first time. At this point we were beat, so it was definitely time for food. We went to La Bellezza, this gorgeous Italian restaurant. We're literally every corner was beautiful, even the bathroom. The prices are definitely closer to what you'd pay in the US, but I personally thought it was worth it. I have also recently discovered my love for Alpro and obviously we had to do a little shopping. Whenever I travel with my best friend or my sister, we always pick up a little Pandora charm for our bracelet. So for Mexico, we picked up the little bee. Then my sister and I had back to our gorgeous hotel, which honestly deserves its own video. Come back for Day 2! We're calling it a night.
