ARE YOU A CYBERSTALKER?

Are you a cyberstalker? Serious question. Someone blocks you because they do not want you to have access to them. Then they block that account. Do you create some random account just to still follow this particular person? Then they block that account. Do you create another account to still follow them? Do you have other people go follow them just to see what they're talking about? Do you enter private communities under a different email that was originally taken out of the community just to keep up with what they're teaching? Do you constantly monitor their life feeds, their posts, and everything that they're doing after they've asked you not to engage with them? If that is you, then you might be cyberstalking. At some point, it isn't a disagreement anymore. It becomes an obsession, a fixation. When someone can prove that they are a cyberstalker, that actually turns into harassment. Online harassment and bullying is a serious thing. This is where people now have legal rights to go ahead and file a protective order against a person because of the harassment, because of the bullying, because you are actually making content associated with them. You're putting their name in content. When someone blocks your account, that person is creating a boundary between you and them. Whenever you bypass that boundary, to create an account that does not have any followers, the intention was to bypass the boundary. When you intend to bypass a boundary, that in itself can be seen as online harassment, and that is a form of bullying. That is a form of stalking. Maybe the question isn't why did that person block you? Maybe the question should be, why can't you stop watching the person? Why can't you move on with your life without having to know what that person is doing? If that is you, I encourage you to seek help. Because what happens is, when people feel unsafe, they do whatever they can to protect their energy, they do whatever they can to protect their family.
