Did you know you can spend $20 to go drinking around downtown Orlando? If you didn't let me put you on. Now every second Thursday of the month, Thornton Park hosts their Wine Art Walk where it allows you to experience different businesses that are downtown and in the Thornton Park district and they offer some really cool cocktails and wine. I'm giving a map and I kid you not, there's over 30 participating stops. Some are coffee shops, some are restaurants, some are cafes. I honestly think it's so cool because you stumble into places that you probably normally wouldn't go to. And this Wine Art Walk, they have a tent set up and they're giving out samples. So you can try different wines and cocktails. And then you can also go to the market going on too. So if you make your way to the market, you can stop and get some bites. We took a look at some of the vintage clothing and they had some really cool watches. Quick tip if you plan on coming to this Thursday, please stay hydrated prior to coming and wear your sunscreen and bring a fan because it is going to be hot. Likely my friend had this Dyson mini fan and we stayed cool, but everybody else was sweating their tails off. With this trip, I think we were able to tackle 12 different stops and that alone is enough to get you feeling right. There was also a long line here, so we had to check it out and honestly, it was very disappointing according to my friend, the wine was nasty, but y'all, she started moving them shoulders. We were stumbling across so many different places that we normally wouldn't go to. So I do highly recommend if you're someone that doesn't want to be in the club scene and you just want to go out and have a few drinks, a great way to bounce around and make it back home at a decent hour. Fair warning, they do let you know what cocktail or beverage each location is going to be serving. So if it's something that you're not into, you can always skip it. But I guarantee if you come to these, you're going to have a great time. So hopefully I'll see you at the next one.
