So I can answer the question: Is STAR WARS Galactic Racer worth buying? A game for streamers. STAR WARS Galactic Racer off the bat feels like much more than just a racing game. But I know that's what you want to know about. So let's hop right into the core mechanic. Fuse Games have absolutely smashed the racing in this. It feels incredibly fast paced and it takes a few errors to learn each vehicle, meaning the sense of achievement when you finally nail those corners and I'll use it again! And fire up the ramjets at the key moments is immense. One thing to mention is the genius startup pattern for each vehicle. If you do it correctly and in the countdown period before the race starts, it will give you a boost. Such a fun and simple mechanic and one that your viewers will scold you on if you get it wrong, which is peak engagement on release. This game is set to be available for £49.99 and honestly, it feels great value. A highly polished game that will get a ton of playtime for me. So I personally have no qualms in buying this on day one. Now for the final verdict. I've just finished playing about 3 or 4 hours of Star Wars Galactic Racer and my goodness, it is so good.
