Hook
This thing If you call my husband hot one time I don't care. I don't really understand why this is a hot take. If someone calls your partner attractive one time, I don't think it should be that weird. If I'm showing a photo of my husband to you and your next action is, 'ooh, he's hot.' I take that as a compliment. Like you're complimenting me like, 'ooh, dang girl, good for you.' Or if you're in a casual conversation, 'Oh, Amelia's husband, he's hot.' Cool, yeah. I'm not dumb. I know that people are going to think my husband's hot. Just because we get married doesn't mean that other people don't find him attractive. I find him attractive, therefore statistically other people are going to find him attractive. But I'm also aware that you can acknowledge someone is good looking without actively wanting them. If you then after that one innocent time of just saying, 'oh, your husband's hot, your husband's cute, whatever.' Continuously saying it, that's where I got a problem. Because how do we not have any other substance to talk to me about other than commenting how hot my husband is? Or every time I see you, the only thing you want to talk about is how hot my husband is. Or oh, I saw you and your husband, oh my gosh, he's so attractive. No, I got the first time that you told me that he was attractive. Can we talk about something else? At least hit me with like a, he's so nice, his personality's bomb.
