If your fan looks skinny from the front but flat on the side, don't place it on top. Place it on the side and gently push it in. To avoid that issue, wipe the lashes on the edges so the base can stay flat. That way, you can place it right on top. And you have to be quick when the glue is still wet and press it in. This method is called wrapping technique. The fan wraps around the natural lash. If you place underneath, make sure the base goes in first, push it in, and lift it slightly. And you are done.
