I prepare my skin barrier and only 6 months after 23 years of destroying it. Five things that are worth the money versus five things that aren't worth the money. Skincare edition. As someone who's extremely acne prone, I feel like my opinions are strong, but they're honest. The Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser from La Roche-Posay makes me want to lose my mind. I only use this at night as my double cleanse after my oil cleanser to make sure I get all my oil and sweat and makeup off from the day. It feels healthy and my skin loves it. Next up, Tatcha. Honestly, anything Tatcha could come out with, I'd be like, 'Yep, I've used their matcha cleanser and now their rice wash. This cleanser prepares my skin from moisture all day. Perfect morning cleanser. Oh, and Tatcha's doing Dewy Milk moisturizer. Did you hear that? Yeah, it's empty. Don't worry, I have a backup. This moisturizer for a good sandwich method in between my Tretinoin and my moisturizer. The Ordinary. Glycolic acid 7% exfoliating toner from The Ordinary. We all know this is bomb. And why is it only like $7? Armpits, knees, dark spots, sweat spots. After the gym, if you're sweating. And this is from a girl who never really cared for toner before. How can you prioritize skincare without double cleansing? Oil cleansing. From Pharmacy, top tier. It's the perfect texture. It's not too runny, it's not too thick. It just melts your makeup off. Also a good oil base whenever you're dermablading and you're shaving them. Living in LA means extremely dry climate and ruthless skin. Clinique. Come here. 100 hour moisture surge. Thank God I have two of these waiting for me in my bathroom. And if the moisturizer wasn't perfect enough, they came out with the 100 hour moisture surge serum. If you're starting out on Tretinoin and Azelaic acid, I definitely recommend getting these two to encourage moisture back into your skin barrier. These are 100% worth my money. You already know what I'm gonna say. La Roche-Posay's Cicaplast Balm B5+. I can't stress this to you enough. I will cross the ocean for this. This is absolutely 1 million percent and three times that. Worth my money. Why would I be in my sleep dreaming of my husband and my future life with dry lips? Jump scare. This is the lip soothie from Farmacy. Tatcha, the Kissu Lip Mask, and melting lip balm. I could just go with the classic Aqua 4, but I'm not gonna lie, I like a little elevated skincare. These are worth my money. Mmm. Smell better. Feeling. I definitely think I'm over five, maybe six. But I cannot end this video without saying anything about the double repair face moisturizer from La Roche-Posay. I mean, the results are there. We do have a light layer of makeup on. Do we see the texture? Do we see the glow? As someone who grew up disturbing their skin barrier and not understanding that that burning, stinging sensation was actually terrible. Here I am thinking, oh no, it's working, it's really doing its job. No, babe. Plus the Cicaplast balm, where the only two things that completely recovered my skin barrier. My skin barrier was in hell. Okay. Come back for part two where I tell you five things that absolutely aren't worth my money. I'm currently testing out the Azelaic acid from Anua. We'll see which list it makes. I definitely think I'm over five, maybe six. But I cannot end this video without saying anything about the double repair face moisturizer from La Roche-Posay.
