This is the type of shit I'll be talking about. See, I can I have an insane number of you commenting up here and being like, why did you put chickens in there and the coop was done? I'm only going to address it once, okay? I'm only going to address this once. My coop was 110% finished. It's been finished for like years now. We've been consistently finding ways to make it better. We're consistently finding ways to reinforce it all the way around. If we find something on the outside and that will help with predators. We have not had a predator issue, okay? The coop was 100% done. Completely wrapped in hardware cloth. It's got hard plastic up on the bottom, the left and the right side is bordered up from the bottom halfway up to protect from predators. Hardware cloth double hair hardware cloth all the way around. And we have fucking boulders outside of the hardware cloth all the way lining the run all the way around. I don't know how like more protected you want me to do this, but what I will say is this. It does not matter what kind of reinforcement unless you have the entire thing is hot and it's electric. There's no way that this would have been stopped. For pitbull bred dogs that are not taking care of them. I don't know if they're fed. Then they see 75 pieces of chickens just flying around. There's nothing you can do to stop that. They're gonna bust their way through. I have owned pitbulls and bullies for the last couple years. They are hard headed little shit. They are. They really are. And they won't want to play. They want to have fun. And if you throw a toy past them, my dog is so scatterbrained. It'll have one toy in its mouth and you throw another one and it goes this way and then it goes that way and then it'll go alligator death roll across that and then it'll run back to this toy and then it'll play tug of war for God's sake and they're stuffing everywhere, okay? I get that. I love dogs too. That's my problem. But I'm sick of people coming in here and saying that I'm the reason that this is happening because I shouldn't own animals if I don't know how to take care of them. I've done my research on these animals. My great grandmother quite literally raised chickens when I was in diapers and I was at chicken sales with my grandmother. I grew up on chickens. I went away from chickens when I lived in the city and then when I came back and I met my husband and I live now in the country, we got back into chickens again. He had chickens when I met him and it restarted the fire from there. I want chickens more and more and more since then. They've become literally my main personality. It's my chickens. My chickens. There's been no research done. It's not that I don't know how to take care of them. This is something you could not have stopped unless the entire thing was electric. And at that point, that much chickens, that much chickens. So that's it. I'm not going to address it anymore. There was no negligence here. There was not of that. The coop was completely finished. And we were back there every two to three days, re-raking the whole thing, finding all the holes in the bottom, where they would do their dirt bass and they would dig little holes and we were filling those in, all the way up the wall, that one spot was the next spot that we were going to put the pallet wood would all the way up that one spot was the next spot that we were going to put the pallet wood would all the way up that we hadn't gotten yet because we ran out of pallets and this is why this happened.
