Why it worked
The video subverts expectations by showing a traditionally feminine modification (eyelashes) on a car, directly challenging a common stereotype in a visually engaging way.
Summary
The video challenges the stereotype that girls cannot modify their cars. It starts with a Volkswagen Beetle and text questioning the notion, then shows the car with large eyelashes on its headlights.
Structure
- 1Introduction of the Volkswagen Beetle
- 2Text questioning the stereotype about girls and car mods
- 3The car is shown with decorative eyelashes on its headlights
Product placement
Volkswagen: it APPEARS as a logo on the car. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
