DAY 2 OF DESTIN Beach and Sandestin Resort

Here's our day 2 of Destin. We stopped at Beignets & Brew. We got lattes, they're pretty mid, honestly. But the beignets definitely ate, an 8 out of 10. We went to the beach at 8 in the morning and spent a few hours there. We booked this trip the morning of. And we were lucky to get a condo at the Sandestin. And it seems pretty huge. We headed down to the Marina, which is on the property. And guess what? The Sandestin gets free kayaking, which is exactly what we did. This resort also gives you access to all four of their pools, by grins and tennis time. And right next door is the Wharf Village. They've a bunch of restaurants, little shops, and zip line. We stopped at Popeye's restaurant just to get some drinks. And the boy really wanted some oysters, and he tore them up. So I'm sure they were pretty good. We made our way back to the condo and walked around for a bit and sat outside to soak in a last bit of Florida air. We made our way back over to the Marina, which is where they had the bike rentals. They said it was gonna be an hour for a table, so we ended up sitting at the bar with the full menu. I got the original snapper and it was so, so good.
