My husband and I got into a huge fight last night over the silliest thing ever. I made a TikTok post asking like if school lunch notes were silly if kids hated them or if they loved them, whatever. Randomly, my six-year-old was like, he's going to bed, he said, Mom, can you keep writing me notes? Can you make me a note for tomorrow because I really love it and it makes me so happy. And I was like, you didn't even see my video or know that I even made it, but yeah, of course, I'm going to. So I told my husband about it, he's like, well, I'm going to write him a note. Okay. So he wrote him a note earlier this week, and then he wrote him a note out yesterday. Well, when I was writing my note, I looked over and saw his note and I was like, okay, we're still kind of like, well, but fine about it. Background info, my husband's an engineer, okay? So like his brain is just very engineering. Okay. So anyway, here's mine. I hope you're sailing through the day. Like, cute. And then he drew a cube. I was like, why did you draw a cube? And then why did you write it? It's a cube. He said, because that's cool. He's going to think it's so cool that there's a cube on his paper. And then why did you write it? It's a cube. I was like, what? I was like, can you like make it into like a cool character or like, right, like this is how you make a cube? I don't know. It's a cube. And that that really sold it. That really sold it. That is how we ended our night last night fighting about a thank school note. I know I probably hurt his feelings by saying that. And like making his note feel like it wasn't good, but it is a good note. It's a great note. It's a cube. I don't know. Either way, we worked it out. But I still was giggling. I have yet to ask my son how he liked his cube that dad made him. I'll ask him later. So anyway, this is your sign to write your kid's school notes for the lunch boxes. Apparently.
