Unpopular opinion: I’ll take warm wood tones + gold finishes over an all-white kitchen any day. 👀 And this kitchen is exactly why. A few of my kitchen design hot takes: 1️⃣ Wood tones make a kitchen feel more expensive. Especially when they’re paired with lighter countertops instead of trying to make every finish match. 2️⃣ Gold hardware isn’t “too trendy.” Used in the right way, it adds warmth without taking over the entire kitchen. 3️⃣ Your countertops can be the statement. Give me beautiful veining and a little movement over a completely plain surface every time. And if you’re building, remodeling, or just saving ideas for your someday Central Texas home, a few places I’d start: 📍 Belton County Flooring — shop local and actually see different flooring, tones and finishes together before committing. 📍 Floor & Decor — SO many options for tile, flooring and backsplash inspiration if you want to compare different looks in person. 📍 Local builder model homes — seriously underrated for inspiration. Tour a few different builders around Central Texas and see how they’re pairing cabinets, countertops, hardware, flooring and lighting in actual homes. Honestly, touring beautiful kitchens might be one of the better perks of selling houses for a living. 😂 Now I need to know: warm wood + gold OR white + black?
