I'm Shanai

I'm Shanai. I'm a Perth mum based down in Rockingham. I'm the person behind The Nurtured Home. I started this business about seven months ago while I was on maternity leave. I now have two little girls, a three-year-old and a one-year-old, and I also work full time, Monday to Friday. So there's a lot that fills my days. Starting this was something that I had wanted to do for a while, and having that time on maternity leave gave me the opportunity to finally start. I've always felt strongly about the way our homes can influence how we feel and how we move through our everyday life. When your home works well for you, it can take away so much of that everyday mental load. And that's what I wanted to help other people create in their own homes. So while I'm working full time and raising my two babies, I'm also building this alongside it all. Most nights when the girls are in bed, I'll sit down and work on the business. And Saturdays are when I get to step away from my client's homes, doing the work.
