You may be seeing this video for the first time, so here’s what was happening behind the tears… 😭❤️ This was filmed on one of the most stressful days we’ve had as business owners. A statewide storm caused power outages, which knocked out our power, phones and internet. Then our website crashed on the SAME DAY our 2027 reservations were supposed to open. When everything goes wrong at once, and there’s absolutely nothing you can do to fix it, the stress can be overwhelming. Sometimes… you just cry. I was simply behind the camera filming my mom during a very real moment, and neither of us ever imagined that little video would reach so many people. This little video ended up going viral on Facebook with 2.2 MILLION+ views and brought us 17,000+ new followers. 🥹 The messages, prayers, encouragement and people calling our store just to tell us they were rooting for us have been unbelievable. I wanted to share this on TikTok too because if you're a small business owner, let this be your sign that you don't always have to show the polished version of your business. ❤️ There are real people behind the posts, the businesses, the phones and the computer screens. Sometimes things go wrong. Sometimes you're overwhelmed. Sometimes you cry. It's okay to show the real moments. You never know who might need to see that they're not alone.
