So I was just sitting on the beach and I got a phone call from the pet shelter and my boy has been transferred from the animal hospital to the shelter. And I'm gonna go see him and see how he's doing. I'm pretty excited about this. Um, so much has happened within the last three days, uh, with these dogs. It's for those who are following the story, thank you to whoever went and trapped the other guy. Uh, he has been captured and is in, um, a safe place now. And so I'm about to go drive to the shelter and see how he's doing. And man, this is just like the best series of events that could have possibly happened with these dogs. Um, so stay tuned. We're gonna go see Hunter. I named him Hunter. Guys. Um, he's wearing a camo collar when I first saw him and uh, it just. It seems fitting for him. So we're gonna go see how Hunter's doing. We're gonna go see how Hunter's doing. Alright. We just arrived at the adoption center. Let's go see this little boy. Oh my goodness. You're just so sweet. That is tail amputated. Oh my gosh. Yeah, buddy, come here. Come here, buddy. Hey, get out of there! Hi. Hi. You are still so cute. Bye buddy. Say bye. Aww. So Homeboy had to have a part of his tail amputated and, um, he has some worms, parasites or whatever. And he has to gain a considerable amount of weight until he's ready to be fostered or adopted. So right now he's gonna be chilling at Pet Helpers on Folly Road. But for now, uh, I think that's a pretty successful end of the story. And he's just the sweetest boy. He has so much life in him now. From the second I found him to now he's just like a complete one eighty. He's a different dog now. Like, I'm just so happy that this is the best thing that could ever happen. So. God, I'm so excited. Who knew? Who knew? Getting lost and then just finding this guy. I know that the other guy is also secured getting transferred to a shelter or an animal sanctuary, but that's about all I know there. I'm just glad that both of these dogs are now safe and sound and out of the wild. So. Alright, thanks for coming along for this journey. Hunter is recovering at PET HELPERS Animal Shelter in Charleston. It will be a while until he's ready to be fostered or adopted. The other dog is currently at another facility.
