$7000 on the table and who knows ...
Meet Outreachy
A paid, remote, 3-month internship that gives people from underrepresented groups in tech the opportunity to gain real experience in open source.
Here's EVERYTHING you need to know.
What is Outreachy ?
Outreachy is a paid, remote internship programme focused on helping people from groups that are underrepresented, experience systemic bias, or face discrimination in the technology industry. As an intern, you work with an open-source community on a real project while receiving mentorship and building professional experience.
* Open to applicants around the world
* Completely remote
* 3 months
* $7,000 USD total stipend
$7000 fr fr ?
YES, IT PAYS $7,000
But let's get this right;
$7,000 TOTAL
(not $7,000 every month)
The stipend covers the 3-month internship.
$3,000 initial payment and a final $4,000 payment, subject to the programme's requirements and successful feedback.
Also, this is not free money; think of it as paid professional experience + mentorship + portfolio-building.
Very good right ?
YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A CODER
Outreachy projects can involve:
Programming
* Graphic design & illustration
* UX/UI & user experience
