ALL THE DISNEY LORCANA UPDATES FROM D23

Are you kidding me? Parks cards. Here's everything we learned last night at a D23 at the Lorcana Quests Ahead panel, including Parks cards, the year four sets, collector's boosters, and the next collector's box. New ways to play and a whole new rarity. First off, the next set will be Hyperia City, based around a modern city within the Lorcana universe. This will include several new locations, as well as vocations for some of our favorite glimmers, including Mickey Best in Town, which will be the first iconic for the Hyperia City set. Check out these three new princess cards included in the Hyperia City set, as well as Pepita in three amazing forms. After Hyperia City, we're getting Into the Inkdark, a villain-centered set we're getting in quarter one of 2027, which will include collector boosters, 100% foil, with a higher chance at enchanted and iconic cards, as well as a chance at the new rarity type called Illustrious. Illustrious cards are a new art and foiling type that emphasizes the artist of Lorcana. The biggest change with Illustrious cards is that they are serialized. They will only ever be 23 of each card printed. Basically, if you crack one of these, you're opening a Willy Wonka golden ticket. The next set after Into the Inkdark, which will be quarter two of 2027, is Cosmic Quest. So here's an overview of what year four of Disney Lorcana will look like. They also announced that all of Tinkerbell's friends from Pixie Hollow will be joining the Lorcana universe. The next collector's box will be Beauty and the Beast themed, where the artists really leaned into the art of stained glass, including a new Gaston Intellectual Powerhouse and Beast Tragic Hero. 2027 will also see the release of the Lorcana Visual Guide book, which will include this amazing poster and a limited edition promo card. The next Disney Lorcana Challenge Circuit, Season of Villainy, will be the Season of Villainy. The Disney Lorcana Quest will be coming back to Epcot, the Arts. As a Parks girl, the most exciting part of the night was the announcement of the Creative Inspiration Figment card that will be part of the Festival of the Arts Quest. Similar to the Epcot Quest, the Disney Lorcana Quest at Sea will also be coming to the Disney Cruise Line. The other big announcement of the night is that people that might not have a local game store will have a future where they can play the game digitally.
