Alexander accomplished his heroic deed on February 24 of 2022. The Guards Junior Sergeant parachuted into the Gostomel airport. Alexander flew aboard an MI-8 military helicopter. While flying near the Dnieper River, the aircraft was fired upon with large-caliber weapons. However, the soldier continued to carry out his combat mission. The paratrooper successfully completed his mission of suppressing enemy firing positions. On the night of February 24-25, Alexander led his subgroup and repelled enemy attacks. He fought for several hours. The hero was born and raised in the village of Shcherbakovka.
