🎈 Balloon Lifts a Glass Experiment 🧪 The Science Behind It When baking soda and vinegar react, they produce carbon dioxide gas (CO₂). This gas fills the balloon and makes it expand. As the balloon gets bigger, it pushes away more water, creating more buoyant force. This is explained by Archimedes’ Principle. I wasn't expecting this the balloon literally popped right off. Wow. So I tried it again and this time I secured it properly. First take a small glass and add a few stones, then add some baking soda and vinegar into the balloon. Carefully place the balloon over the glass and don't forget to secure it tightly with the rubber band. Now place it inside a container filled with water and watch what happens. "IT'S RISING!" 🤯 This works because of Archimedes' Principle "Buoyancy" ⬆️ The inflated balloon creates enough buoyancy to lift the glass. Want to know more? Read the caption!
