QC Spa New York on Governors Island is such a beautiful escape from the city. The ferry ride over already makes you feel like you’re leaving New York behind, and once you arrive, the atmosphere is peaceful, luxurious, and relaxing. The heated outdoor pools overlooking the Manhattan skyline were definitely my favorite part. The spa also has a great variety of saunas, steam rooms, relaxation areas, and water experiences, so there’s plenty to explore. The views especially around sunset are absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely recommend QC NY for a girls’ day, couples’ getaway, birthday, or simply a day when you want to disconnect and pamper yourself. My only advice is to give yourself plenty of time because there is so much to experience.
