mgkは日本が大好き❤️🇯🇵 mgk「母ちゃんが日本人ならよかったのに」😭 mgk loves Japan. mgk: "I wish my mom was Japanese" 😭 📝: mgkは2026年8月16日、千葉県の幕張メッセで開催された「サマーソニック東京」に出演しました。公演中、mgkは日本への愛や日本のファンへの感謝を何度も伝え、「日本人だったらよかった」と冗談を言う場面もありました。mgkが語った言葉は以下の通りです。 「 こんにちは、てめえら。俺たちはマシン・ガン・ケリーです。日本でこんな大勢の前で演奏するのを、キャリアを始めてからずっと夢見てました。7年前にもここで演奏したけど、そのときはこれくらいの人数でした。今日は俺たちのライブに来てくれて、本当に光栄です。すごく嬉しいです。もしこれが俺のペ😇😇の表現だったら、今ごろカチカチです。口が悪くてすみません、ただめちゃくちゃ興奮してます！ 俺も愛してるぜ、このクソ日本人ども！愛してる。俺が日本人になりたいってことは明らかだろ？アニメばっかり見て、みんなみたいな服装や髪型にしてる。みんなは本当に……ちょっと早口になってるな、待って。みんなマジでクソかっけえ。母ちゃんが日本人ならよかったのに。日本人とヤっ😇くれてたら、俺もみんなみたいになれたのに。 可愛い娘の前でカッコつけさせてくれて、ありがと。 日本で今までで一番好きなライブでした。これを超えるのは難しいけど、だからこそ何度も戻ってきます。俺たちを代表して、夢を叶えてくれてありがとう。みんな愛してる。本当にありがと。このライブは俺たちにとって本当に大切です。こんなに来てくれるとは思いませんでした。ありがとうございます。」 mgk performed at Summer Sonic Tokyo on August 16, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Throughout the performance, he repeatedly expressed his love for Japan and gratitude toward Japanese fans, even joking that he wished he were Japanese. At one point, mgk addressed the crowd, saying, "Konnichiwa, motherf-! We are Machine 🔫 Kelly. I have waited my whole career to perform in front of a crowd like this in Japan. I played here seven years ago, and it was this many people. I'm so honored that you guys came to our set today. This makes me very happy. If it was a representation of my -, it would be very hard right now. Excuse my language, I'm just very excited!" He later joked about wishing his mother had been Japanese, saying, "I love you too, you f- Japanese motherf-. I love you. It's obvious that I wish I was Japanese, okay? All I do is watch anime and try to dress like you guys and do my hair like you guys. You're very... I'm talking too fast, hold on. I think you guys are super f---ing cool, and I wish my mom was Japanese. I wish my mother had - with a Japanese man so that I could be like you." mgk also said, "Thank you mostly for making me look cool in front of my beautiful daughter." While performing "vampire diaries," mgk changed one of the lyrics to reference Tokyo, singing, "I was born to fly, but, Tokyo, I would ⚰️ to run." At the end of the performance, mgk described the show as his favorite performance in Japan to date. "This was my favorite show we've ever done in Japan, period. It's gonna be very hard to top, but that just means we gotta come back over and over again. On behalf of me and everybody on this stage, thank you for making this a dream come true. I love you all.
