1. We have a REAL vehicle everywhere we go. No more towing a separate vehicle behind the motorhome. Once we unhitch, the truck is ready for exploring, groceries, sightseeing, softball tournaments—whatever we’re doing. 2. We got WAY more living space. The fifth wheel feels much more like a small apartment than an RV. More room to spread out, better separation of spaces, and more privacy when traveling as a family. 3. The floorplans are hard to beat. This was a big one for us. Our fifth wheel gives us dedicated spaces for the kids instead of everyone essentially sharing one big living area. 4. If the truck needs service, our HOME stays put. With a motorhome, your engine and your house are one vehicle. If something mechanical happens, your entire RV can end up at the shop. With the fifth wheel, we can leave the RV at the campground. 5. It fits the way we travel NOW. Our RV life has changed over the years. We aren’t constantly moving every day, and when we arrive somewhere, we usually stay awhile. For that style of travel, having a big comfortable home base and a truck to explore in makes more sense for us. #FifthWheelLife #RVLife #RVLiving #RVTravel #GratefulGlamper
