1.You’re using the wrong product for the stain: Different stains need different treatments. A product that works on grease will not work on rust or ink stains. 2.The stain has been there for too long: Old stains are usually harder to remove because they have had more time to bond with the fabric. 3.The wrong amount is being used: Using too little may not be enough to treat the stain, while using too much could leave residue or damage the fabric. 4.Heat has already set the stain: Washing, drying or ironing some stains with heat can make them much harder to remove.
