DIML as an intern

DIML as an intern international student in Melbourne this is a day in the life as an international student living in Melbourne good morning we are up bright and early today because i have a uni class at 8:30 my commute is honestly my favourite part of the morning since everyone back home in Europe is still awake this is when i text all my friends and my family and i read the news before my day really starts and staying connected through Vodafone makes this so much easier *search Vodafone coverage. Standard calls to select countries on Medium and Large plans only. Fair use policy and T&C apply once i get to uni it's time to lock in i've got lectures assignments group projects all the usual after i finished my first class I messaged my friend Lucy asking if she wanted to go for coffee so we went for a lovely little walk over to Carlton and had coffee at good measure where we sat and just caught up for a while and this is why staying connected all throughout the uni day is so important because other otherwise I would literally never see my uni friends after that i just grabbed some lunch because it was time to have two back to back classes which means four hours without a break these classes are actually pretty chill first one is called social enterprise and then the second one is called developing professionally my teacher here is the cutest ever and everyone in my class is so lovely once I finished my classes for the day I went for a lovely walk over to Fitzroy because my boyfriend and I were trying out a new pho spot tonight it was absolutely delicious and by the time I'm winding down and get home everyone back home is finally awake so this is usually when I call my parents this is definitely the hardest part about living overseas is you miss the little everyday moments but being able to call all home makes Melbourne feel just a little less far away and that's a day in my life as an international student in Melbourne it's busy but staying connected to the people back home definitely makes it a little bit easier
