You'll meet the most diabolical liars when working a warehouse Job If you wanna meet real liars, real proper liars, go work in a warehouse. I've spoke about this before, but I've got a different life for you. So these were the times where I worked in a warehouse, many, many years ago, right? And, um, there was this guy. Now, we would call him, you know, sometimes because we lived in Brum, this warehouse was in Coventry, sometimes I drop him back to Brum depending on the situation. He tells me, "Oh yeah, like, my mum, my mum, uh, bought a restaurant for my mum and I'm like, what? That's sick. Because I don't judge. It doesn't matter what job I'm working now. If you're making moves, you're making moves. And you haven't given me a reason to think that you're lying. He says, "Yeah, my mum, uh, bought my mum a restaurant. I said, sick. I go, cool. As the supportive person I am, I'm like, yeah, of course, I go to this restaurant. I wanna grab some food, yeah. But I think I'm like, two pound short with the cash that I have, right? Now, for me, I'm not saying I wanted him to give me the two pound off, no. But basically, um, I just call him because he's the owner, innit? So I'm like, bro, like, are you able to let this two pound slide? And the next time I come back, I'll give you the two pound at work, yeah? Um, and he's talking, he's talking his mum's language or whatever about the restaurant. And then, you know, he's like, oh, sorry bro, I can't really help. I thought you said you owned the restaurant. So anyway, I put the phone down. I'm trying to reason with the guy who works at the restaurant, like, bro, it's just two pound. I'll give you the money next time. And then he's like, I can't. And I'm like, oh, but you know, my boy, the owner, he's the owner, the dude, the dude. Listen, the guy serving me, he says, never heard of the bloke. Okay. But he said something along the lines of, never heard of the bloke. And then it just makes me think like, you people who work in warehouses, yeah, it's okay to work a warehouse job. It's temporary. It's a means to an end, if that's what they call it. It's not forever. You do not have to go around telling people crazy stories about yourself. If this is a financial situation, you're not gonna be here forever. Oh, the lies people telling the warehouse is not a joke.
