Market day is actually a 5-day job. 😂 Market season runs from June through October, and it is BUSY. I actually start the season with a freezer loaded with dough so I can rotate flavors and offer lots of variety without making everything from scratch every single week. There’s also a lot of work you don’t see: adding stickers to bags in the evening while watching TV, shopping for the business while doing the family shopping, planning, filming, testing recipes, admin work… and trying to stay ahead of the schedule. And if I manage to get ahead? I’ll happily trade a morning or afternoon of baking for some time with my grandkids. ❤️ It’s a lot of work, but having a system makes market season so much more manageable. #HomeBakery #CookieBusiness #BakingBusiness #MarketSeason #SmallBusiness
