Heat is actually the number one cause of weather related deaths in the United States. We've already seen at least 70 people die just in July. At some point we have to have an honest conversation about priorities across this country. Americans are being asked to conserve electricity. We're having to reroute power to prevent blackouts. Meanwhile, AI data centers are using electricity 24/7. Some are consuming the amount of an entire state each year. We shouldn't be sacrificing power to our homes, hospitals and schools so we can create AI slop!
