Apparently I’m a coconut. Apparently I’m lost. Apparently I’m trying too hard to be British. Apparently I’m not Indian enough. Yeah. And? I’ve spent enough of my life worrying about what people think but you know what? I’m actually f**king proud of who I am! I’ve spent years being told I’m too this, not enough that, a coconut, lost, trying to be something I’m not. But eventually I realised… maybe I don’t need to belong to the version of “Indian” that other people have decided I should be. I finally stopped trying to belong somewhere I never belonged. And guess what… I’ve never been happier in my life with finally knowing who I am. I get comments like this on all my platforms, but some of these screenshots came from a video someone made specifically about me. The video was eventually taken down, but not before the comment section got pretty wild along with the creator herself… this video would have been far too long if I shared them all, glad I saved them all which I normally don’t do. Funny how the people trying so hard to tell me who I should be ended up showing exactly why I stopped caring about fitting in. If being myself makes me a coconut… 🥥 Then ….Hai Hai 🌶️🌶️🔥🔥🥥🥥🥥 #spicyhotc#spicyhotcoconuttan#coconutandproudh#proudofwhoiaml#beyourself
