I was so freaking broke and nursing school that when it was my time to shine, baby, I'd shine. I got my first big girl job at the hospital and since I'm an LPN, I was always paired with an RN. And we'd have like six to eight patients in our set, right? If I got like a really good season nurse, she was cool with the charge nurse, baby, I'll convince her to work five days. We were about to run it up real quick. And I was just sitting here thinking like, why was I so burnt out? Like, why did I leave like this? It was because I was doing that every other week. I was losing my mind.
