Things That Actually Helped Me Manage My Acne-Prone Skin As someone with acne-prone skin, I used to think I needed stronger products and more actives to get clear skin. But honestly, it was the small habits I changed consistently that made the biggest difference. 🤎 Here are the things that genuinely helped me 👇🏻 My Acne-Safe Habits 1.I became more careful about what I put on my skin. If I’m wearing makeup, I try to choose products that are less likely to clog my pores. I don’t want makeup sitting on my skin all day without thinking about how it may affect my acne. 2.Clean hands before skincare. Before touching or washing my face, I make sure my hands are clean. It sounds like such a small thing, but your hands touch so many things throughout the day. 3.I learned when to stop adding more. When my skin is irritated or breaking out badly, I don’t immediately add another active or try a new product. Sometimes my skin needs less, not more. 4.I stopped constantly changing my routine. When my skin is doing well, I leave it alone. No random new products, no jumping onto every skincare trend. Consistency has helped me much more than constantly experimenting. 5.I started taking cleansing seriously. Especially when I wear sunscreen or makeup, I make sure I properly cleanse at night. I don’t want to sleep with layers of sunscreen, makeup and dirt sitting on my skin. 6.I check whether a product actually suits acne-prone skin. Just because something is viral or everyone loves it doesn’t mean it will work for me. I started paying more attention to ingredients and how MY skin reacts instead of buying every trending product. 7.I also paid attention to my lifestyle. I noticed that when my diet was mostly refined carbs and sugary foods, my skin could feel oilier and more congested. So I started focusing more on balanced meals with enough protein and fibre. Nothing extreme. No overnight miracle. Just small habits, repeated consistently. 🤎 And honestly, that’s what made the biggest difference for me.#acnetransformation #acneproneskin #skincare #consistency #beforeandafter
