Nvidia recently denied media reports claiming it planned small-batch year-end shipments of a China-tailored language processing unit (LPU) AI chip. While the U.S. has cleared limited sales of H200 processors to select Chinese tech giants under strict licenses, regulatory hurdles and competition from Huawei keep Nvidia's market footprint in a state of flux. There was a lot of hype that Nvidia was going to be escalating and trying to improve their relationship with China and get chips that can specifically be sold to China. This specific chip was the H200 chip that they currently have released. And what was good is when we had these earnings, and we were still using Nvidia and Nebius, is they were still using those and they were still making money off those chips, showing that they were still really good and the license would exceed expectations. Like the A100 is still being leased like crazy, it's over 5 years old. But if you read up here, they actually denied the media reports and so they are not planning any shipments this fiscal year. Nvidia isn't getting a lot of love breaking back to the upside, but it's looking like it's coming back down towards the 100-day moving average. If Nvidia's earnings don't go well, you are going to see downside. The main watch here will be expectations moving forward and what their plans are with memory regarding their chip. These are currently exercising different ways to use less micron chip, less memory and their GPUs and how that will impact their performance along with their outlook. We'll see very soon.
