Hi!

Hi! I'm Anna. I'm a Chicago-based illustrator and I draw live pet portraits. I'll be drawing portraits from 11 to 7 at Vintage Sheffield. It's going to be at Barcocina in Lincoln Park. Let me show you how I do it. I start by writing out the name of your pet at the bottom. These portraits are 4x6 inches, they're completely freehanded. I love to draw these portraits from life if possible, but I also work off of photo references of your cat or dog or what have you. So I do the ink outline and then I go in with these really quick washes of color. I like to make my portraits really colorful and bright. And the whole process takes only about 5 minutes. So it's a quick way. And in the meantime, you could shop some of my art prints that I have available. And here's the finished product.
