Hook
Here's the behind the scenes of my 18th birthday planning. I have never gotten my lashes done before. This was actually my first time. And the only reason I don't like lashes is because I see a lot of sets that I don't like, more often than the sets that I actually like. So I'm like, can they do what I actually like or is it just the wispy sets flying around? I was so scared, but I saw the lash tech work on two other people and I reached out to her and booked an appointment. This was pretty last minute because the week before my birthday was exam week. Anyways, I got my hair done the day before and it seems as though I wasn't vlogging, but I couldn't find clips from that day. So yeah. You guys recommended Miracle Knot, and that's exactly what I did because I looked it up and apparently it's supposed to be a protective style. I really do hope it protects my hair because I like the hair in lots and I think I might do it again. I didn't mention, but I ended up doing my lashes a whole lot. I did not like it at first. I felt like it was too long, but later on, I fell in love with it because my mom did not complain about the length. In fact, she loved how minimalistic it looks. I started my hair the day before and completed my hair on the second day. The second day was the day of the photoshoot, by the way. So after completing my hair, we went to get my makeup done. I'm going to tag my makeup artist and the lash tech in the description below because they finished work. I showed her the inspo for everything because even though I struggled for my life this semester, I made sure I planned my birthday to the T. And I had a reference for everything because I love things to be done a specific type of way. Now, with makeup, just like lashes, I've had my fair share of horror stories. I wanted something pretty like, and I'm like, what if I tell them to do like makeup for me and they still go heavy or one big glam for me? And I told her what I wanted, she delivered exactly that. She was so sweet, so nice, amazing experience. I never gonna lie. And she also helped me style my hair. It was also pretty affordable. So yeah. As soon as I saw the finished makeup, I fell for the entire propaganda. Now I genuinely want to learn how to do my makeup so I can randomly like look extra whenever I want to. But yeah, after the makeup, I moved over to the studio which was just like, really close to the makeup studio. I went back to the makeup place for them to help me with my hair, which they happily did. And that's the second outfit. Okay, stick around for my actual birthday vlog. Bye guys.
