Can these side hustles actually make you money? I'm not sure, but we're going to find out. Welcome to part two where I try different side hustles that everybody claims makes them so much money to see if it actually does. These are the side hustles we're trying. We're going to see how much money I make and how much money I lose doing these side hustles. We already tried to make an AI animated kids YouTube channel. I got like six views, no subscriptions, no likes, nothing. That one was a flop. So far I made $0 and I lost $100. Today we're going to try making our own coloring book on AI and selling them on Amazon. This girl claims it's super easy and she makes $20,000 a month. So let's see if that's actually true. Shocker, we've already run into a problem. The AI software it needs a Windows. I only have an iPad and a Mac and it looks like she runs it on her Mac, but my Mac is a work computer and I'm not trying to do anything personal on a work computer because I would get in trouble. So I didn't spend any money though, which is good. So far I made $0 and I lost $100. Fast forwarding through the process. 1. Looked at the video I found this on. 2. Tried it in Claude. 3. Moved to chat GPT. Okay, you guys, I am back the next day. I did not record most of this process because it did in fact take a long time, but it didn't cost any money, which is exciting. So I was able to figure it out. I used chat GPT rather than that other thing that she said because I didn't know what that was, I didn't know how much it was going to cost. So I just tried what I had for free first. I do use chat GPT Pro, um, I pay for it, but it's not solely for this purpose. So I'm not counting it towards what I spent on this project specifically. And chat GPT actually made it work really well. This is the cover of it and then these are some of the pages that are in there and it's a children's coloring book. I was able to get it onto Amazon. I was able to price it myself. I get a certain percent, they get a certain percent for printing and then Amazon gets a certain percent for being the seller. This would go to show that it could work. I would probably make more because it was actually a hard process, but it was just a tedious process because I had to put the prompt into chat GPT and then have each specific individual coloring book page made into a PDF. I had to do that 24 times because it's minimum 24 pages in the book. Overall took about three hours. It didn't take any of my money, but it did take my time. The KDP Amazon thing that this girl had said in her video has actually worked. You can literally publish whatever you want as long as it's within their guidelines. I obviously don't have answers to if this is going to make me money or not, because I just published it, but we'll hopefully come back later in the next part of this series and keep you guys updated on how much it makes. But I'm more hopeful about this one than I was about the kids AI animation channel. Stay tuned for the next side hustle that I try. Okay, bye guys.
