There is something every woman deserves to hear, especially the woman who has spent too much time questioning whether she is enough: you deserve love that does not make you beg for the bare minimum. A woman should never have to compete for the attention of the man she loves. She should never have to wonder where he is, who he is talking to, why his phone suddenly has a password, or why his affection disappeared. Love is supposed to bring peace, not constant anxiety. It is supposed to make you feel valued, respected, protected, appreciated, and safe not confused, ignored, betrayed, or broken. Men, if a woman gives you her heart, understand what you have been trusted with. She is not just someone you can call when you are lonely. She is not someone you should keep around while you search for somebody else. She is a human being with feelings, dreams, fears, insecurities, and a heart that can be deeply wounded by your choices. Do not cheat on a woman who has been loyal to you. If you are unhappy, have the courage to communicate. If your feelings have changed, be honest. If the relationship is no longer working, walk away with respect. But do not betray someone behind their back while looking them in the eyes and telling them that you love them. Cheating doesn’t just break a relationship. Sometimes it changes the way a person sees love forever. It can make someone who once trusted completely start questioning everything. It can make a beautiful woman wonder whether she was not attractive enough, loving enough, patient enough, or worthy enough. But ladies, please remember this: someone else’s betrayal is not proof that you were not enough. You could have given someone your entire heart and they still could have chosen to hurt you. That choice belongs to them. Their inability to appreciate you does not determine your value. And if you are in a relationship where you are constantly being disrespected, manipulated, controlled, lied to, humiliated, or emotionally destroyed, please don’t convince yourself that you have to stay simply because you once loved that person. Love is not supposed to require you to lose yourself. A relationship should not leave you crying every night wondering why you are never enough. You should not have to constantly apologize for having feelings. You should not have to walk on eggshells around someone because you are afraid of how they will react. You should not have to accept disrespect just because you are afraid of being alone. Being alone can hurt, but being with someone who continually breaks your heart can hurt even more. You deserve someone who chooses you when nobody is watching. Someone who respects you in private, not just someone who acts loving in public. Someone who keeps their promises. Someone who communicates instead of disappearing. Someone who protects your heart instead of intentionally testing how much pain you can tolerate. You deserve a man who can look at you and say, “I don’t want to hurt you,” and then actually live by those words. You deserve someone who notices when your smile is different. Someone who asks what is wrong instead of dismissing your feelings. Someone who listens when you speak. Someone who remembers the little things. Someone who understands that romance isn’t only flowers and beautiful words—it is consistency, honesty, patience, loyalty, accountability, and effort. And men need to understand something too: a good woman is not asking for perfection. She is asking for honesty. You don’t have to be rich. You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to know exactly what tomorrow looks like. But you should know how to respect the person standing beside you. If you make a mistake, admit it. If you hurt her, take responsibility. If you love her, show her. If you are struggling, communicate. If you no longer want the relationship, be honest enough to leave instead of destroying her from the inside while pretending everything is okay. Because one day, you may realize that the woma
