We spent four days in Puerto Rico and here's how day one went. We checked into La Concha Resort, which is so freaking beautiful. It's located right on Condado Beach. There's multiple bars, a spa and salon, a casino, a nightclub and about three restaurants, as well as this cute boutique. So of course, I had to stop in here and see what they had going on. And y'all, this stuff was so freaking pretty. Those clutches and bags were definitely my favorite part. At this point, our room wasn't quite ready, so we did some more exploring and here's one of the restaurants. After waiting for about an hour and a half, they finally told us that the room was ready. And y'all, I see why it took so long. I know y'all always hear me talk about my man, my man, my man, but y'all, I really don't have a choice but to like look at what he did for us. Fun fact, we've been married almost four years and we've never been on a honeymoon, so we kind of treated this trip as our honeymoon/a little time to get away and spend time together. Unfortunately, on the last day of our trip, we did have some plumbing issues, so all that decoration that my man paid for, $399, and they also reimbursed all valet fees and fixed everything. And y'all, look at this view. Amazing. 10 out of 10, highly recommend. After a little bit of resting, we changed and went to the pool for a little bit and then we had to hit up the T-Mobile District. So in preparation for this trip, I did have several TikTok videos saved about places to visit, things to eat, things to try, and the T-Mobile District was definitely on the list, and I can see why. The vibes were definitely there. There were several restaurants, bars, places to go shopping, and then just look at the views, look at the colors. Things like this excite me. There was also a very big basketball game going on. Everyone was tuned in. So we stopped at the arena located in the T-Mobile District and y'all, when I tell you some of the best chicken quesadillas I ever had in my life, so good, fresh and cheesy. Daryl had the pulled pork sandwich and he really enjoyed that as well. And that was it for day one. See y'all in the next one.
