Can’t explain the joy I’ve found in learning to draw. I genuinely thought I could never do it ..and now I get excited just thinking about opening my sketchbook and what I can add . Anyone else grow up with an artsy sibling and you could hardly do stick figures? There’s something so freeing about starting out bad…letting yourself make ugly drawings, and slowly watching your own style and ability grow. I realize this happened super quickly for me but do know that I never really tried before .. I was just doodling hoping to be good.🤣 So if you want to draw and feel hopeless, ask yourself if you actually tried to learn or if you just doodled without considering learning technique ..because drawing really is technique and not NOT talent, in most cases.. in my humble opinion . 🤗 #paperrepublic #louisecarmen #travelersnotebook #journaltok #journalecosystem
