Why it worked

The video uses a popular 'come thrift with me' format that appeals to fashion-conscious viewers, combined with relatable, low-stakes storytelling about the thrifting experience.

Summary

The creator and her friend go thrifting at Pasar Senen, searching for clothes that match their personal styles. They browse through various racks of clothing, bags, and shoes, negotiating prices and sharing their finds.

Structure

1Introduction to thrifting at Pasar Senen
2Browsing clothing racks for specific styles
3Finding and evaluating potential items
4Taking a break to eat
5Continuing the search for bags and shoes
6Concluding the thrifting trip

Product placement

Pasar Senen (a) ACTS: the location where the thrifting occurs, the interface of the market is operated by the creator and her friend to find and negotiate clothes. Removing it would change the video entirely. Toko Kacamata Luna (b) APPEARS: a store name on a bag in the background. Removing it would not change the video.
