When it comes to God, I am living proof that he can take your little and make it SOOO much! 🙌🏾✨ I never imagined that I’d be where I am today, but it is NOTHING but the grace of God that has brought me this far. I’m just a small-town girl who didn’t have much and couldn’t even afford my own place when I started what I didn’t even know would one day be called “influencing.” I simply started making YouTube videos as an outlet back in 2012—something I was doing for fun when I began my natural hair journey. (I didn’t even know I could make money from it at the time 😅) I had no idea where it would lead, but God breathed on it. And He has taken something I started so small and exceeded every expectation I had. 🥹 I never imagined that so many people would connect with my story over the years and become my family, my community, and my tribe through every season. You’ve been here through the beautiful seasons AND the really hard ones… When I got hacked on Instagram and had to start over. When I moved to Texas with no family nearby. When I was single for more than five years, waiting on God to send my husband. When I quit my job with no real plan, but merely a word from God to take the leap of faith. And last year, when I lost my mom suddenly. 😢🫶🏾 Through EVERY. SINGLE. SEASON. God has been faithful. Looking back, I can see His hand on things I didn’t understand at the time. What felt like setbacks were often setups. What felt like endings were often new beginnings. And every time I thought I didn’t have enough, God showed me that He was more than enough. So I’m telling y’all: partner with God in everything you do. Because He WILL NOT FAIL. ❤️ Trust Him with your dreams. Trust Him with your plans. Trust Him when you can’t see the way forward. And when He tells you to take that leap, TAKE IT. 🙏🏾 I am SO incredibly grateful for everything He has done. 😭 And honestly… I have a feeling He’s only just begun. 🙌🏾✨ If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move.
