If you live in Charlotte, you know how much Manolo’s Bakery means to our city. I had the privilege of meeting Manolo back in 2023 when he was a guest panelist at an event my student org executed at @UNC Charlotte, and his heart for service, uplifting the immigrant community, and passion left a mark on me. What happened at his bakery recently, confronting an ex border control comander, is a testament to the kind of person he is, brave and unwavering. Ever since the ice raids hit Charlotte last fall, fear has taken over so many of our neighbors. Since Sunday, people have been leaving 1 star reviews on his google page having nothing to do with his bakery or work. If you have ever gone to Manolo’s or plan to, please leave him a good review and help his business! We have to keep speaking up, using our voices, and physically showing up for those who can't safely do so. Support local immigrant owned businesses. Support your neighbors, alwaysss!! 🫂❤️ @manolosbakery
