NOON SANGAK Ingredients: 3 cups bread flour (or all-purpose flour) 1½ cups warm water, plus a little more if needed 1 tsp instant yeast 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 1 tbsp olive oil Sesame seeds, optional 1. First step, Make the dough 1. Mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit about 5–10 minutes. 2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. 3. Mix until you have a very soft, sticky dough. Sangak dough should be much wetter than regular bread dough. 4. Knead for about 5–7 minutes. Don’t keep adding flour—wet hands are better. 5. Cover and let rise for 1½–2 hours, until roughly doubled. 2. Shape the sangak Turn the dough onto a generously floured or lightly oiled surface. Divide it into 2 pieces. With wet/oiled hands, gently stretch each piece into a long, thin oval—roughly ¼ inch thick. Don’t worry about making it perfect; sangak is traditionally irregular. Sprinkle sesame seeds! The best part lol 3. Bake it 🔥 PAY ATTENTION HERE For the closest home-oven result: Put a pizza stone or baking steel in the oven. Preheat to the highest temperature your oven reaches (ideally 500–550°F) for at least 45 minutes. Carefully place the stretched dough onto the hot surface. Bake about 5–8 minutes, until puffed, browned and blistered. For extra char, turn on the broiler for the last 30–60 seconds, watching it constantly. #sangak #EasyRecipe
