Why don't you do some speedpaint ?

I don't know if you've seen the speed paint made by the creator of one piece, but the comments on this tiktok are making me cry. They're saying things like, I'm crying. How do you see in that mess? which is cool. it got worse and worse every redraw and then it suddenly just started getting better. is luffy himself drawing the sketch? dude haven't you see speedpaint looks kinda similar. how do you keep track of what you're doing this way? This one is saying, how do you keep track of what you're doing this way? I'm dying is this oda speed paint? And I just have to say, this is actually like my worst nightmare, like, you could literally be the creator of one of the most prolific manga series, like, the world has ever known and people will still say things about your art. That being said, I'm sure it's part of the territory. Like, if you make something so prolific, your work is going to be seen in the eyes of millions of people. It does. as someone who makes art, albeit at a level that's far beneath him. I thought that this process was honestly, like, very relieving to see. Like, I'm gonna pop on a little speed paint I did a few years ago. And guys, like, the process of going, like, really rough and then refining and then like, maybe even two or three more roughs on top of your roughs is a universally sound process. I'm assuming the commenters are people who aren't artists or have either only seen speed paints made by, like, Kim Jung Gi, or artists who could just, like, bang out enough, like, immediately and like, perfect. But that is not really, like, the majority of artists. And I am just relief that Oda is one of those people, too.
