And I kept coming back to the same basic idea. Build an audience. Learn one business model. Create simple content. Use automation for the repetitive stuff. For me, that became affiliate marketing. I started a new Instagram account. I posted short Reels. I learned how to connect people with products that were already selling. Then I built a simple system that could follow up when I wasn't sitting on my phone. That's the part I wanted. I wasn't looking for another job. I wanted something I could build now that might give me more choices later. More time with my wife and girls. More random Tuesdays. More weeks at the lake. More control over what my life looks like.
