The Houston pizza debate continues… 🍕 After my Gold Tooth Tony’s review, two names kept coming up: Home Slice and Spanky’s. Home Slice delivered the oversized, thin New York-style slices I remember from the East Coast. Solid pizza, with the mushroom slice being the standout- but overall, I’d land around a 7.5/10. Spanky’s: a thicker, pan-style crust that stops short of being deep dish. The best way I can describe it? An elevated, homemade, better-ingredient version of Pizza Hut during its ’90s heyda - and I mean that as a serious compliment.
