Why it worked

The video taps into the feel-good factor of children performing acts of kindness and giving back to the community. The "return" narrative and the involvement of local workers and a homeless person create an emotional connection with viewers.

Summary

Two young boys, who were previously featured in a video at a cafe called Scran, return to give back to the community. They prepare and distribute sausage sandwiches to people in need, including construction workers and a homeless man.

Structure

1Boys return to Scran cafe
2They prepare sausage sandwiches
3They distribute sandwiches to people in need
4They interact with construction workers
5They give sandwiches to a homeless man
6They thank viewers and tease Part 3

Product placement

Scran (cafe): acts - it is the place where the video takes place and where the boys are making sandwiches. Removing it would change the video. Guardian Electrical Compliance (clothing): appears - it is a logo on a t-shirt. Removing it would not change the video. Openreach (company): appears - it is a logo on a van. Removing it would not change the video.
