Actor Tim Curry has passed away at the age of 80 ❤️ Few actors could make a character completely their own quite like Tim. Over a career spanning more than five decades, he became a true pop culture icon as Dr. Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Wadsworth in Clue, Pennywise in the 1990 adaptation of It, the unforgettable hotel concierge in Home Alone 2 and Long John Silver in Muppet Treasure Island. A whole generation also grew up hearing him as Nigel Thornberry in The Wild Thornberrys. His talent went far beyond the screen. Tim was a celebrated stage performer with three Tony Award nominations and an incredible voice actor who won a Daytime Emmy for his work as Captain Hook in Peter Pan and the Pirates. After suffering a major stroke in 2012, Tim continued working, making appearances and connecting with fans, while maintaining the sense of humor that made so many people love him in the first place.
