Get ready with us for the day. I don't know about you guys, but my girls and alarm clocks do not mix. I have to go in personally wake each one of them up every morning. Automatically as soon as their alarm goes off, they just turn it off right away and go back to sleep. In the mornings, Berkley either watches a show or is on FaceTime with one of her friends. So I joined in on their FaceTime call for a little bit while Berkley did her hair. She slept on her hair wet and it did not crease at all during the night. It turned out so good. Sadly, it really wanted her hair curled or straightened today. I'm like, no, no, we got dirty hair, like we got to keep it out of our face. She was not thrilled with that decision. But we landed on doing two French braids. I used to do braids, I used to do it so precisely, like so much gel, so much water, like and pull it so tight. So we're just trying to make it through the day and it turned out pretty cute. And sometimes it looks cuter when it's like a little bit messy. She always scares me when she plays with this comb for some reason. I feel like it's going to end up getting stuck in her arm. Finley had the best idea to do a dragon braid in her hair today and her hair is perfect to do that because all of her hair is one length. So it just really falls into that dragon braid really nicely. It's definitely a little bit more time consuming, that's for sure. But I love when they let me do something fun. But now we're ready for school.
