Welcome to episode 3 of turning my Pinterest bedroom into reality. Today I decided to put up the IKEA paper lantern. It was really easy to put together. You just expand the lantern and stick the shade ring in and it just pops into these hooks to stay in place. I decided to use the Philips Hue Essential light bulbs and I love them so much. I just attached the bulb to the cord kit that I found on Amazon. It was like $8, so definitely recommend. I was scrambling because I thought I couldn't put the shade on with the ball already installed and so I took it off and then I realized, no, the ball needs to go on so I put it back on. So there was that. And then I had these cord organizers in my drawer, so I used them to tape my cord to the wall and then reveal. I absolutely love the lantern so much. Definitely worth it. I just got into the Philips Hue app and then was just playing around with different colors to see what I liked.
