Let's bring back homemade Halloween 🎃

Glowing Jack-o'-Lantern Jars 🎃 Here's how I made it: I mixed Mod Podge with red and yellow paint until it turned a see through orange, that translucency is what gives it the glow once lit. I painted that onto a clean dry jar, then baked it at 175 to speed up drying (low and slow, and never leave it unattended). Once it was dry 1 painted on the jack o'-lantern face, then dropped in an electric tea light and screwed the lid on tight. A few tips: always use an electric candle, never a real flame with the lid on. Thin coats of the Mod Podge mixture work better than one thick layer, you'll get a more even glow. Make sure your jar is oven safe before baking, and let the paint fully cure before handling it so the design doesn't smudge. Pickle jars are great for this because of the wide mouth, but any clear glass jar with a lid works too.
